Art Central Gallery is pleased to present June Sullivan's new photographic exhibit entitled "Renewal", which will be open through the month of April 2015.
Perhaps this time of year any winter seems worse than last year, but this winter in particular has been long and hard. For that reason, photographer June Sullivan is especially excited to think about spring and all it offers.
"I started to entitle this display 'Pieces of April'," Sullivan says, "after the old Three Dog Night love song that keeps running through my head. But, as I worked on it, I realized that it's something more. As God breathes his warm breath on the earth and it becomes green and colorful, it is more than the flowers, birds, and butterflies that burst forth. It is our very souls that expand with the balmy air and the dazzling color. The cold winter is gone; the earth is green; and we are renewed with the spring."
